titleOfInvention Thermal cycler cover
abstract In one aspect, a thermal circulator system is disclosed. The heat cycler may be composed of a device housing and a cover operatively connected to the device housing. The cover may include a handle portion, a device cover portion, a sample block platen, and a link bar. The device lid portion is attached to the proximal side of the handle portion using the first pin. The sample block platen is operatively connected to the handle portion such that the handle portion is flush with the device cover portion and the sample block platen is attached to the sample block when the cover is in the closed position. The link bar is rotatably connected to the device housing at the first terminal end portion and to the second pin at the opposing second terminal end portion, and the handle portion is raised away from the device cover portion before the cover is moved to the open position.
