titleOfInvention A sustained-release injection of microspheres containing escitalopram and manufacturing method thereof
abstract The present invention relates to a sustained-release injection containing biodegradable polymer microspheres containing ecitalopram as an active ingredient and a method for manufacturing the same. In the case of Ecitalopram microspheres, there is a phase separation of the liquid drug and the polymer inside the microspheres, resulting in low encapsulation rate, brittleness due to weak strength, and initial over-release. To solve this, by adding a hydrophobic solidifying agent that homogenizes the heterogeneous phase, the encapsulation amount and efficiency of estalopram are maximized, overcome the breakage of the microspheres under high loading conditions, suppress the initial release of the microspheres, and delay the release. It is possible to adjust accordingly.
