abstract There is provided a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device which can improve the aperture ratio by preventing generation of active tails. In the manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display, after the data line is formed, the active layer, the source electrode, and the drain electrode are simultaneously formed with the pixel electrode, thereby preventing the generation of the active tail protruding from the side of the data line.
