The present application relates to a variable transmittance device and its use. The variable transmittance device of the present application can switch between a clear state and a black state, exhibit a high transmittance in the clear state and a high blocking rate in the black state, and exhibit an excellent contrast ratio even at an inclination angle. The variable transmittance device of the present application can be applied to a variety of applications including eyewear, such as a variety of building or vehicle materials that need to adjust the transmittance, or augmented reality experience or sports goggles, sunglasses or helmets. |
