abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing an elastic filler for artificial turf using a temperature reducing surface treatment agent which rapidly radiates heat from the surface of the artificial turf filler to the atmosphere, comprising the steps of: (a) preparing the surface treatment agent for reducing temperature; (b) preparing a rubber chip or SEBS chip for artificial turf filler, (c) removing the skin and impurities of the rubber chip or SEBS chip, and (d) the rubber chip stripped in step (c). Or applying an adhesion enhancer to the surface of the SEBS chip, and (e) after the step (d), alternating the powder and liquid of the temperature reducing surface treatment agent on the surface of the rubber chip or SEBS chip. It relates to a method for producing an elastic turf for artificial turf using a surface treatment agent having a temperature reduction function, characterized in that it comprises the step of spraying and to an elastic filler for artificial turf produced by the method. Therefore, the artificial turf ball field installed with the elastic filler prepared according to the present invention prevents a sudden temperature rise on the surface, thereby preventing injury due to frictional heat during use, thereby increasing the utilization rate of the playground in response to temperature changes in the summer. An elastic filler for the same and a method of manufacturing the same are provided.
