titleOfInvention | Secondary battery, battery module and battery pack with improved safety |
abstract | Provided is a secondary battery, a battery module and a battery pack including the same, which can secure safety in the use of a secondary battery by blocking the propagation of a flame when a fire occurs during use of the secondary battery. The secondary battery according to the present invention is a pouch type secondary battery in which the electrode assembly is housed in a pouch case, and the secondary battery is provided with a flame prevention net so that the needle body penetrates the secondary battery or the secondary battery internal temperature is increased due to other abnormal behavior. When the flame rises rapidly, the flame propagation can be cut off, thereby improving the safety of the secondary battery more fundamentally and responding to a dangerous situation quickly. |
