abstract |
The present invention relates to a selective hydrogenation process for producing light aromatic hydrocarbons from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons having a high nitrogen content, and more particularly, by selectively hydrogenating polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which are by-products of refinery processes having a high nitrogen content. 1) effectively lowering the nitrogen content, and 2) a technique that provides the effect of the conversion of the polycyclic aromatic compound of 2-Ring or higher to 1-ring aromatic with high selectivity. This has the effect of extending the catalyst life of the subsequent hydrocracking process and improving the yield of C 6 -C 9 light aromatic hydrocarbons. |
