abstract The present invention relates to a PNA probe represented by a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 having different hybridizations according to a bovine viral diarrhea virus gene type, and a PNA probe represented by a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4, and a method for determining a bovine viral diarrhea virus genotype using the same. The present invention has the advantage of being able to quickly and accurately detect bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) genotype which was difficult to distinguish easily by the conventional method in one experiment.
