titleOfInvention Microbial community for removal of hydrogen sulfide and its use
abstract The present invention discloses a novel microbial community having an excellent conversion ability from hydrogen sulfide to elemental sulfur, and a method for removing hydrogen sulfide from a gas containing hydrogen sulfide or a method for producing biosulfur. The microbial community according to the present invention converts 1,500 to 10,000 ppm of a high concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the gas containing hydrogen sulfide into elemental sulfur (biosulfur) so as to reach 20 ppm or less, which is much lower than 200 ppm, which is an environmental safety standard for residual hydrogen sulfide. This is very good, about 99.7% or more.
