It has been found that ligands for modifying surfaces containing certain silicon can be used to make semiconductor nanoparticles (quantum dots) better compatible with polysiloxanes. Quantum dots dispersed in a polysiloxane matrix can be used, for example, to alter the emission spectrum of the device in a light emitting device. |
