abstract | The smoking article includes an aerosol-generating substrate made of a flavor delivery material for thermally releasing the flavourant. The flavor delivery material consists of a polymer matrix and a plurality of regions of the flavor composition dispersed within the polymer matrix. The flavor composition consists of a flavorant mixed with one or more triglycerides comprising at least 30% by weight of triglycerides having one or more carboxyl groups having a chain length of at least 12. Flavors may be released from the polymer matrix when the flavor delivery material is heated to an elevated temperature. |
