abstract | The present invention is directed to a system and method for verifying complete assay coverage during steam generator tube inspection. The analysis is performed by an automated analysis process. The process includes setup and analysis functions. Information is inserted into the setup function to identify abnormalities to be inspected and to model the steam generator tube. Verification includes using a software verification program to detect and identify a gap in analysis coverage for a particular abnormality or set of abnormalities for the steam generator tube being inspected, in a particular portion of the steam generator tube. |
