Biodegradable compositions having pressure sensitive adhesive properties |
abstract |
The present invention provides a composition comprising (a) an isocyanate group-containing component having an average functionality of at least 2; And (b) a reaction product of an active hydrogen group containing component having an average functionality of at least two. The composition is biodegradable, solid at 22 ° C. or lower, and has pressure sensitive adhesive properties at a temperature of 37 ° C. and a relative humidity of 100%. The composition can be used to attach a polymer mesh or film to biological tissue. |
