titleOfInvention Photoanode comprising Ti:B co-doped hematite and preparing method thereof
abstract The present invention relates to a photoanode comprising a heteromatally doped hematite with titanium and boron, and more particularly, a hematite photoanode heterogeneously doped with titanium and boron causes EHP recombination on the hematite surface. Not only does it reduce the number of Ti 4+ and Sn 4+ ions, but it also generates an internal electric field that allows for easy hole extraction to achieve the maximum length of hematite (500 nm to 600 nm) with the best PEC performance known in the art. Increasing to nm can solve the chronic short hole diffusion length problem leading to high electron-hole recombination rate, so it can be very useful as a photoanode for water-decomposable PEC cells.
