abstract The surface resistance value of the polarizing plate 1A of this invention is 0.01 ohm / sq. It has a conductive layer 2, the base material 3, and the polarizing layer 4 which are -800 ohms / sq. Preferably, the conductive layer 2, the base material 3, and the polarizing layer 4 are laminated in this order. The preferred conductive layer 2 has a total light transmittance of 80% or more. The polarizing plate of this invention has the outstanding electromagnetic shielding property.
