abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing an aminolevulinic acid synthase gene in which methanotrophic bacteria in which a TCA metabolic pathway (TCA cycle) for biosynthesis of succinyl-CoA and a serine pathway for serine biosynthesis for glycine biosynthesis are simultaneously activated, A transformant for acid production, a composition for producing aminolevulinic acid containing the transformant, a kit for producing aminolevulinic acid containing the composition, and the transformant are cultured to produce aminolevulinic acid from methane . Using the transformants provided in the present invention, aminolevulinic acid can be produced by using atmospheric methane as a sole carbon source, so that it can be widely used for production of economical aminolevulinic acid. |
