abstract |
Depth desulfurization of hydrocarbon feeds containing unwanted organosulfur compounds that produce hydrocarbon products with low sulfur levels, i.e. up to 15 ppmw of sulfur, hydroprocesses the feed under mild conditions, and the hydrotreatment effluent is subjected to significant amounts of aromatic refractory and It is achieved by separating into an aromatic rich fraction containing a steric hindrance sulfur containing compound and an aromatic lean fraction. The aromatic rich fraction is contacted with an isomerization catalyst and the isomerized aromatic rich fraction is recycled to a mild hydrotreating process. |
