Cleaning composition containing polymer microemulsion |
abstract |
There is provided a gelled cleaning composition comprising standard temperature and pressure (STP) liquid oil or STP soft wax present in a total weight percent of from 0.1 to 9.9. The emulsifier is present in an amount of from 0.01 to 10% by total weight with the alkylene glycol present in an amount of from 0.002 to 11% by weight. The microemulsion is present in the composition in a total weight percentage of 0.2 to 15%. Water forms most of the composition so that the composition becomes a single phase during storage for at least 4 months at < RTI ID = 0.0 > 20 C. < / RTI > The composition is well suited for use in processes for applying a composition and then allowing sufficient time for the urea to soften or dissolve and to remove lipophilic elements from the hand or inanimate substrate by removing at least a portion of the urea and composition. The silicone gasket as well as other cured resins and paints are easily removed. |
