titleOfInvention | Method for activating double metal cyanide catalysts for producing polyether polyols |
abstract | The present invention (?) (? 1) DMC catalyst and at least one H-functional starting compound are placed in a reactor, (a2) passing an inert gas, an inert gas / carbon dioxide mixture or carbon dioxide into the reactor at a temperature of 50 to 200 DEG C while at the same time establishing a reduced pressure (absolute pressure) of 10 mbar to 800 mbar in the reactor by the removal of inert gas or carbon dioxide, (β) a partial amount of one or more alkylene oxides (based on the total amount of alkylene oxides used in steps (β) and (γ)) in an atmosphere of an inert gas / carbon dioxide mixture or under a carbon dioxide atmosphere, Is added to the mixture from step (a) at a temperature of < RTI ID = 0.0 > 200 C & (?) one or more alkylene oxides and carbon dioxide to a mixture resulting from step (?). Methods for preparing polyether carbonate polyols from one or more H-functional starter compounds, one or more alkylene oxides and carbon dioxide in the presence of a double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst, and a method for activating a double metal cyanide catalyst . |
