Composition Comprising Silk Fibroin-Coated Lactic Acid Bacteria Having Improved Mucosal Adhesive Capacity |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for improving the survival rate, storage stability, acid resistance or bile resistance, and adherent epithelial cell adhesion ability of a lactic acid bacterium by coating silk fibroin on the surface of a lactic acid bacterium, and a lactic acid bacterium composition prepared thereby. There is a limit in that the effect of lactic acid bacteria on the adherent epithelial cell adhesion on ingestion can not be confirmed by constructing only a physical barrier wall outside the lactic acid bacteria through the multistage coating of the prior art. However, the present invention is not limited to the use of silk fibroin extracted from silkworm cocoons Coating not only enhances stability in storage and distribution conditions but also significantly increases stability and long-term fixability in intestinal environment. |
