abstract The present invention provides a method for inhibiting unwanted polymerization of reactive monomers in a liquid. This method involves the combined use of quinone methides with quinone diimides in liquid monomers. This combination has an unexpected synergistic effect. Thus, at some ratios, this combination actually results in a 100% inhibition rate.
