abstract | Disclosed is a method for producing monodispersed particles, monodispersed particles and variable photonic crystal devices manufactured thereby. The disclosed method of producing monodisperse particles is a method of controlling the size of particles by adjusting the content ratio of at least two monomers when forming at least two kinds of monomers and adding polymerization initiators to initiate polymerization reaction to form particles of the copolymer type to be. The thus prepared monodisperse particles have a photonic crystal structure in the solvent and constitute a variable photonic crystal device in which the optical blocking band is continuously variable at least in the visible light band according to the applied voltage. |
