titleOfInvention | Residual compensation for a biosensor |
abstract | The biosensor system determines the analyte concentration from the photo-identifiable species of the analyte or from the output signal resulting from the redox reaction. The biosensor system compensates for more than 50% of the total error in the output signal as a first function and compensates for some of the residual error with a residual function. The amount of error compensation provided by the first function and the residual function may be adjusted to a weighting factor. The compensation method comprising the first function and the residual function can be used to determine the analyte concentration with improved accuracy from the output signal including the component due to the error. |
