abstract |
The present invention relates to an endo-5-O-alkylisosorbide-2-O-alkylsulfonate anionic surfactant and a method for its selective and efficient preparation. The production process according to the present invention can introduce an alkyl chain in endo form to isosorbide at a high position selectivity and an excellent yield by controlling reaction conditions such as a solvent or a catalyst, and therefore, 5-O-alkylisosorbide- O-alkylsulfonic acid salt, and an anionic surfactant having a sulfonic acid group introduced into the isosorbide prepared by the above-described method shows low surface tension and high bubble force, and thus can be usefully used as a surfactant. |
