titleOfInvention Liquid composition comprising alginate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and polysaccharide colloids
abstract The present invention relates to a liquid phase containing a solution of alginic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a colloidal polysaccharide suitable as a biomaterial for medical tissue recovery used for raising the mucosal tissues when excising mucosal tissues such as stomach or intestines with an endoscope, More particularly, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for medical use for injecting into a submucosal layer in endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) or endoscopic submucosal dissolution (ESD), comprising an alginic acid having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000 or more and less than 200,000 or A pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a liquid composition containing a colloidal polysaccharide. According to the present invention, endoscopic mucosal resection or endoscopic submucosal dissolution can be effectively used as a submucosal local injection agent having an excellent duration of mucosal uplift by injection.
