(1) of mixing a micelle-containing solution A containing a rare earth complex and a ferrocenyl surfactant and a micelle-containing solution B containing a polydentate ligand and a ferrocenyl surfactant to form a mixed micelle-containing solution; (2) a step of electrolytically conducting the mixed micelle-containing solution as an electrolytic solution to form a thin film of the rare earth complex polymer containing the rare earth complex and the polydentate ligand on the surface of the positive electrode; A light emitting element comprising an electrode and the rare-earth complex polymer thin film provided on an electrode surface; Transporting layer on the surface of at least a part of the rare-earth complex polymer thin film of the light-emitting element, and further has an electrode in the electron or hole-transporting layer.
