titleOfInvention | Soluble glassy antimicrobial agent and water-treatment agent |
abstract | [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The object of the present invention is to provide a soluble vitreous antimicrobial agent having a sufficient antimicrobial effect and a granular water treatment agent excellent in filling workability while suppressing collapse and discoloration when used as a water treatment application. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] in a mass ratio of the oxide in terms of SiO 2 is 0~5%, K 2 O is 5~10%, Ag 2 O is 0.1~5%, B 2 O 3 is 60~75%, Al 2 O 3 is 10 to 20%, and 0 to 10% of at least one member selected from the group consisting of MgO, BaO, and ZnO has a high antimicrobial activity, a small collapsing property and a low discoloring property. It has also been found out that the soluble vitreous antimicrobial agent is formed into a granular form having at least a convex portion on one side thereof, which is excellent in both filling and water permeability, and is highly useful as a water treatment agent. |
