Processes for ionic / liquid reactants employ nozzles in which liquid reactants and liquid catalyst can be injected into the reaction zone through at least one nozzle to effect a reaction. The reaction may be to alkylate at least one isoparaffin and at least one olefin in the presence of an ionic liquid catalyst. The at least one nozzle above provides close contact between each of the phases, resulting in greater product control and reaction control effects. |
