abstract | In the method for producing carbon nanotubes and graphenes, a mixture of a carbon nanotube precursor, a graphene precursor and an intercalation compound is prepared. The mixture is heat treated to produce an intercalation composite. The intercalation composite is peeled off in a solvent to prepare a peel solution containing individual carbon nanotubes and graphene. The impurities are removed from the stripping solution. High purity carbon nanotubes and graphene can be produced together by intercalation reaction while suppressing damage due to oxidation. |
