abstract | The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a polyether polyol (i) by first introducing a mixture of a DMC catalyst and a poly (oxyalkylene) polyol or a mixture of polyether polyol ("heel") obtainable by the process according to the invention and a DMC catalyst into a reactor (Or more than one) low molecular weight starting compound (s) having a (mixed) hydroxyl functionality of from 2.2 to 6.0 and a) from 73 to 80 wt. (A) and b), and b) 27 to 20 parts by weight of at least one substituted alkylene oxide (a) and b) according to the specified formula, per 100 parts by weight of the sum of ethylene oxide With an OH value of from 15 to 120 mg KOH / g, which is prepared by continuously introducing the resulting mixture.
