Herein for the production of polyunsaturated fatty acids from microalgae performance improvements, Am PD nium Carboxylic terephthalate (Amphidinium carterae), heteroaryl Sigma Akashi right (Heterosigma and from akashiwo), or tele brother flux species (Teleaulax sp.) discloses a microalgae culture medium composition and process comprising at least one feed material selected. The compositions and methods according to the present invention are capable of producing polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as omega-3 fatty acids, in microalgae at high concentrations. |
