titleOfInvention | Separation of antigen-specific memory B cells with a conjugated biopolymer surface |
abstract | The present invention provides materials and methods for the isolation of immune cells. In one embodiment, the invention provides a mechanism for the isolation of antigen-specific memory B cells. Immune cells are separated by flowing cells along the surface of the ligand conjugate biopolymer. The ligand may be distributed at a gradient concentration along the Z axis of the biopolymer surface. Cells with receptors displaying a unique display on the ligand on the biopolymer surface are rolled along the surface by the lucosite rolling method to interact with the ligand. Additional binding interactions will result in fractionation cell separation and resultant immobilization. |
