abstract | The present invention relates to a novel use of EI24 and provides a new use of EI24 that inhibits insulin growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R) signaling and is involved in improving the drug resistance of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors. According to the present invention, the expression level of EI24 can be measured to determine whether the drug resistance to an anticancer agent is present. In addition, EI24 or an activating agent thereof can be used to inhibit, delay or ameliorate drug resistance of an anticancer agent. In addition, EI24 improves the efficacy of existing anticancer drugs by modulating the pathway mediated by drug resistance of anticancer drugs, and can inhibit, delay or improve drug resistance to anticancer drugs. |
