titleOfInvention | Motilin-like peptide compound having transmucosal absorbability imparted thereto |
abstract | It is an object of the present invention to provide a motilin-like peptide compound which maintains motility of motilin to stimulate motility of gastrointestinal tract and exhibits high water absorption upon administration of mucosal membrane. The present inventors have designed and synthesized derivatives in consideration of the degradation pathway at the transmucosal absorption site of motilin and the maintenance of the physiological activity of motilin, and found that compounds substituted with amino acid at position 21 of natural type motilin The present inventors confirmed that they not only exhibited high water absorption upon mucosal administration but also maintained the same activity as motilin. |
