Accordingly, the positive electrode active material includes a second coating portion having a relatively high proportion of nickel and a relatively large proportion of manganese, and a second coating portion having a high atomic ratio between the core portion and the second coating portion. By having a structure having a coating portion interposed therebetween, it can exhibit high capacity characteristics and excellent thermal stability and lifetime characteristics. Therefore, the cathode active material according to the present invention can be easily applied to an industry that requires it, particularly to a lithium secondary battery industry which requires high thermal stability and life characteristics while having high capacity characteristics. |
