abstract |
The aqueous phase component is a multi-layered composite comprising on this support in this order an extruded compliant layer, an aqueous coated serving layer, and also an extrudable rechargeable layer. The extruded compliant layer is nonpolar and comprises from 10 to 40% by weight of at least one elastomeric polymer. The water element can be disposed on a support to form a thermal dye transfer receiver element, an electrophotographic image receiver element, or a thermal wax receiver element. Excellent adhesion is provided between the compliant layer and the water layer extruded by the aqueous coated service layer. |
