titleOfInvention | Method and device for determining an analyte concentration in blood |
abstract | A method for determining at least one concentration of at least one analyte in blood, in particular a method for determining blood glucose concentration, is proposed. In this method, a test element 114 having at least one reagent element 124 is used. The reagent element 124 is configured to perform at least one optically detectable detection reaction in the presence of the analyte. Blood is provided to the test element 114 and a time lapse of at least one optical measurement variable of the reagent element 124 is detected. At least one first time interval 158 of the time course of the optical measurement parameter is used to determine the concentration of at least one disturbance parameter in the blood, in particular the concentration of the disturbance component, preferably the blood hematocrit value. At least one second time interval of time lapse 164 is used to determine the concentration of the analyte. |
