Also disclosed is a metal composite part excellent in adhesion between a metal part and a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition. A polyethylene terephthalate resin modified with a dicarbonyl unit other than a specific amount of a terephthaloyl unit is added to a polybutylene terephthalate resin to prepare a metal composite part.
