abstract |
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a battery cell in which an electrode assembly is embedded in a battery case of a pouch type together with an electrolyte, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a laminate sheet having a housing portion having a shape corresponding to an electrode assembly; A step of attaching the electrode assembly to the receiving part, folding a part of the laminated sheet to seal the receiving part; Forming a first sealing portion by thermally fusing the remaining portions of the laminated sheet excluding the one end portion out of the folded peripheral portions of the laminated sheet; Forming a gas pocket by injecting an electrolyte through the end portion in the unshielded state and then forming a second sealing portion formed by thermal fusion of the end portion; Forming an auxiliary sealing portion for reducing the discharge of the electrolyte on the gas pocket; Performing charging and discharging to activate the electrode assembly; And purging at least one through-hole in the gas pocket to remove gas generated during the activation process. |
