titleOfInvention | composition for radiolabeling diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid(DTPF)-dextran |
abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for the radioactive identification of DTPA (diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid) -dextran with 99m Tc and for stabilizing DTPA-dextran. This composition contains tin chloride ion for reducing 99m Tc- and technetium acid, ascorbic acid for reducing the second tin ion to the first tin ion to maintain the reducing environment, freeze-dried composition Α, α-trehalose for stabilizing and increasing the amount of glycerol, and glycine for trans-chelating 99m Tc in a highly acidic environment to facilitate the radioactivation of DTPA-dextran at high radiochemical purity. The invention also includes methods of making and using compositions. The lyophilized composition is reconstituted with 99m Tc- and technetium acids and results in a radioactively labeled 99m Tc-DTPA-dextran in a composition of pH 3-4. The present invention involves a diluent vial that moves the pH to a relaxed, acidic pH to reduce the pain of injection and is easy for the medical user to control the potential. |
