titleOfInvention | Hydroformylation process with a doubly open-ended bisphosphite ligand |
abstract | There is provided a continuous hydroformylation process for preparing at least one aldehyde product having improved stability of an organic polyphosphite ligand by using a ligand mixture comprising an organic polyphosphite and an organic monophosphine and a transition metal . The method comprises reacting one or more olefinically unsaturated compounds with carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of an organic polyphosphite ligand and an organic monophosphine ligand, wherein at least one such ligand is coupled to a transition metal to form a transition metal-ligand complex To form a hydroformylation catalyst. Surprisingly, the addition of organic monophosphines to the Rh / organic polyphosphite catalyst system did not result in a significant loss of reaction rate. |
