titleOfInvention High speed optical modulator and method of modulating light using the same
abstract Speed optical modulator and a light modulation method using the same. An optical modulator according to an embodiment of the present invention includes first and second resonant cavities sequentially stacked on a transparent substrate, the first and second resonant cavities each including an electro-optic layer do. The optical modulator may further comprise at least one resonant cavity comprising an electro-optic layer. In the optical modulation method, first and second voltages having different magnitudes may be simultaneously applied to the first and second resonance cavities, and the first and second voltages may be alternately applied after the application of the first and second resonance cavities.
