The hydrosilylation curing composition comprises a combination of a high viscosity and low viscosity polyorganosiloxane, a silicone resin, a crosslinking agent and a catalyst. The composition and its cured product are useful in optical devices such as charge-coupled devices (CCDs), light-emitting devices (LEDs), lightguides, optical cameras, photo-couplers and waveguides. Methods for making optical devices include various casting techniques including overmolding. |
