abstract | The present invention relates to a porphyrazine dye of the formula (1) or a salt thereof: In this formula, Rings A to D are each independently a benzene ring or a 6-membered nitrogen-containing hetero-aromatic ring, E is alkylene, X is a sulfo-substituted anilino group which may further have a substituent, R 1 is a C 1 -C 6 alkyl group, b is an average value of not less than 0.00 and not more than 3.90, c is an average value of 0.10 or more and less than 4.00, and the sum of b and c is an average value of 1.00 or more and less than 4.00. The ink composition containing the porphyrazine coloring matter of the present invention is a cyan ink having good color, excellent in various fastness properties, particularly ozone resistance, high in the concentration of the ink, and hardly causing the bronze phenomenon, A porphyrazine dye suitable for recording and an ink composition containing the same can be provided. |
