abstract The present invention relates to a plant having an increased number of tRNAs by transformation with a recombinant expression vector containing the HOX25 gene having the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. The plant of the present invention is characterized in that the flowering time is increased by one week or more in addition to the increase in number of tillering. The present invention also relates to a method for increasing plant turnover by overexpressing a gene comprising a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 encoding HOX25 protein consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 in a plant.
