abstract |
The present invention relates to an optical platelet inspection system comprising: a platelet smearing inspection chip including a sample chamber for accommodating a blood sample, a pressure feeding chamber separated from the sample chamber, and a smearing micro-channel for connecting the pressure feeding chamber and the sample chamber; a vacuum generating unit for providing vacuum pressure to the pressure feeding chamber to make a blood sample in the sample chamber flow through the smearing micro-channel and smear to the smearing micro-channel; an optical imaging unit for photographing a blood sample smearing in the smearing micro-channel; and a platelet activation analyzing unit for discriminating a platelet image from optical images photographed by the optical imaging unit, and analyzing the degree of activation of a platelet by discerning the activation of the platelet according to the size of the discriminated platelet image. Accordingly, a blood sample smearing in the smearing micro-channel is photographed by the optical imaging unit, and it is discriminated whether an actual platelet is activated on an optical image by using the size thereof, so the degree of activation of the actual platelet in the blood sample can be quantitatively discerned. |
