abstract | The present invention relates to methylene blue nanoparticles for biomedical imaging and photodynamic therapy, and their use as therapeutic agents for cancer and as contrast agents. The methylene blue nanoparticles to be used as a light metastatic agent of the present invention are nanoparticles of which the composition is composed of only substances that are in clinical use or are derived from the human body and have low clinical entry barriers and are very likely to be commercialized. Since it exhibits near-infrared fluorescence with its performance, it can be used for both biomedical imaging such as optical imaging and cancer-targeting photodynamic therapy. |
