abstract | Disclosed are a flotation monitoring apparatus, and a method using the same. The disclosed flotation monitoring apparatus comprises: an imaging device imaging a surface of an ore solution contained in a floatator; a file converting unit converting image data received from the imaging device into a graphics file; a data extracting unit extracting color data from the graphics file; a data storage unit storing the extracted color data; and a data analysis unit comparing the stored color data with the color data of ore solutions and headings stored in the data storage unit to draw optimal operating conditions for flotation. Moreover, a method using the flotation monitoring apparatus comprises: (a) a step of an imaging device to image a surface of an ore solution contained in the floatator; (b) a step of allowing a file converting unit to convert image data received from the imaging device into a graphics file; (c) a step of allowing a data extracting unit to extract color data from the graphics file; (d) a step of allowing a data storage unit to store the extracted color data; and (e) a step of allowing a data analysis unit to compare the stored color data with the color data of ore solutions and headings stored in the data storage unit to draw optimal operating conditions of flotation. |
