abstract | A method of obtaining a platelet aggregation rate or platelet inhibition rate caused by an antiplatelet agent using a single blood sample is achieved. An analysis device is provided. The analyzer has several channels, each of which is coupled to a common inlet port. The first platelet active material is responsive to the activation pathways targeted by the antiplatelet drug. The second platelet active material does not respond to the activation pathways targeted by the antiplatelet drug. The anticoagulated sample is simultaneously introduced into the first channel and the second channel. Platelet aggregation levels are measured simultaneously in both channels. |
