titleOfInvention | Composition for Treatment of Female Menopausal Disorders Comprising D-Chiro-Inositol, Pinitol or Like Compounds Thereof As Active Ingredient |
abstract | The present invention relates to the use of D-chiro-inositol, pinitol or a similar compound thereof for the prevention or treatment of female menopausal symptoms. The active ingredient compound of the present invention has an effect of increasing the activity of female hormone by raising the blood concentration of 17? -Estradiol and lowering the blood concentration of sex hormone binding globulin. Accordingly, the active ingredient compound of the present invention can be developed as a drug or a functional food for preventing, ameliorating or treating female menopausal symptoms. Since the active ingredient of the present invention is derived from a natural product, unlike a feminine hormone or a chemically synthesized sex hormone derivative, the side effects are very small in a human body. |
